We are based in Morecambe, Lancashire and in the picture on the left is Molly, our very first border collie who we sadly lost in December 2014 suddenly. She was the most wonderful, loyal and intelligent dog anyone could wish for. She taught me very quickly that border collies are the most amazing breed EVER!!!
At Bordaquest, we love the diversity of our wonderful border collies and we love agility, shepherding and conformation showing, but first and foremost they are our furry family.

Our story so far......................
Max, our oldie terrier, who has now sadly gone to Rainbow Bridge, was rescued as a 3 month old pup, the year I left university, as I could not wait to get a dog of my own.
When Terry and I got together, we decided to get another dog. Terry had border collies most of his life growing up, but the only two I knew - one had bitten me and the other was a psycho so I was adamant that was one breed I did NOT want but.......the farmer in our village had the runt of the litter left and I made the 'fatal' mistake of going to visit them!!
Along came Molly who taught me how border collies are the most loyal, loving, intelligent dogs ever!
I admittedly pestered Terry for a long while before we got Paddy, from Rich and Della Lucas (Aculsia). He has a very different personality to Molly and has taught me SO much.
I then decided that I want to influence the future of our wonderful breed, and so along came the gorgeous Cookie, who is out of two Altricia parents, bred by Alan and Pat Wilkinson, with an amazing 40 years worth of careful breeding behind her. I feel very honoured to have such a wondetful dog with these lines behind her. In 2013 she produced our very first Bordaquest litter to a super special dog called Marty (Sianwortrh Magical Spell over Glenfound), from which we kept Izzy (Bordaquest Blizzard) and Jess (Bordaquest Diamond Dust). I strongly believe that our foundations are strong for influencing the breed in an very positive way and I am so thankful to his owner Katrina and breeder, Sian, for alllowing me to use him. Not only did he produce wonderful puppies with Cookie, I gained some very special friends.
In January 2015 we had the opportunity to welcome a very special dual registered girlie, called Keeva (Traigh Lightning Strike at Bordaquest) who has got her paws firmly under our carpet and we love her to pieces.
In October 2015, Izzy had her first litter to the gorgeous Bekwey Muchacho and we kept the only girl in the litter, who had an angel shape on the back of her neck when she was born. We called her Angel, or her posh name is Bordaquest Snow Angel. Her dad Callum, is from 100% English lines of which I have admired for a long time. His temperament is second to none and I will be eternally grateful to the Brutto family for alllowing me to use him, for Denise to breeding him and for people like Jenny Jefferson and Alison Hornsby for being so passionate about producing such wonderful dogs in years gone by.
In November 2016, Cookie had her second and last litter to the same sire as we used for her daugher, Izzy - the gorgeous Bekwey Muchacho. We thought that seeing as the combination had produced such wonderful pups with Cookie's daughter, that he would hopefully combine well with Cookie. Wow - we were certainly not disappointed, as although we had said we would not keep a puppy from this litter, there was one extremely special girl who stood out. Along came Posh, aka Bordaquest Rich Tea.
There have been many other wonderful parts of our lives which we will hopefully give you a flavour of in the dog's individual pages. We hope you have time to look.
