bordaquest DIAMOND DUST
I commonly describe Jess as “just an absolute poppet”.
She is border collie through and through. She is bouncy, loving, intelligent, eager to please, eager to learn and very loving. She is a real show off so excels in the show ring where everyone HAS to watch her!! CLICK HERE to watch her on her way to getting second out of 25 at Crufts this year, under breed specialist Juliet Mockford. She has also turned her paw to working sheep which we still need to work on. She is very keen which is wonderful to see. |
She has won and been placed at many champ shows. Her first big win was at Manchester Champ show 2014 where she won Best Puppy in breed out of around 40 puppies. She has since won several classes, one of which was a Post Graduate class at Working and Pastoral Breeds of Scotland November 2014, under breed specialist John Ritchie. Here is her critique:-
"pleasing type & her excellent make & shape will mean she is always there or thereabouts. Feminine head, dark eye, ears OK, excellent neck, super front & hind angles, correct body length, good croup, excellent tailset & carriage, moves very soundly out & back but really comes into her own on the side gait, showing the correct reach & drive so desirable in our breed. She lacks overall maturity & could carry a bit more body. Quality youngster"
All her class wins at champ shows have been under breed specialists. This fills me with immense pride to think that my first litter has produced such balanced, correct moving border collies that are truly fit for function :)
